Hydro brake issues

I have a set of Hayes Nine on my bike and one of the pistons on the rear caliper seems to protrude and not retract like the opposite one. This causes quite a bit of annoying rubbing and clicking with the pad rattling in the caliper. These are around 15 years old now. Is there anything I can do to improve the performance? Do I need to replace or service any parts?

You've got a sticky piston.
