Mounting a battery without drilling

Hi all,

So I checked and the Bionx wheel actually does fit in the recumbent dropout so I will be moving forward with installing it.

I would like to install the battery under the seat of the recumbent for low center of gravity. It is designed for a water bottle mount but the water bottle is at the front.

The water bottle mount also is not actually drilled into the frame of the bike but instead is some sort of add-on that also extends the crank forward as need be.

How could I secure that battery against the frame?

There are many "water bottle" mounts (check Amazon or elsewhere). The best IMO is made by Minoura, although SKS makes a nice unit too..

Since I had an old bike with 1" tubing, I used three Velo-Orange metal clamp-ons, They also come in 1-1/8" diameter and are #12a pair from Velo-Orange's website. less tha what they cost at amazon, Nice classic look, That's a 26 cell 21700 battery, about 7AH,

I've also used the SKS ratcheting straps, but the whole thing is plastic. although it's never broken,,They are more apprropriate when the frame is an oval shape or something bigger.

Finally, I've attached hose clamps and U-clamps to battery cradles and had some very secure mounts. However, I've never had one upside down. I don't know if a Hailong case is robust enough not to fall out,
