Convert RockShox Judy SL to Remote Lockout

Hello, just awaiting delivery of my new X-Calibre 8 and wondering whether I can convert the fork into remote lockout and if so what kit would be best.

Live in a place with loads of hills but frequent fun coastline trails so think would be handy to have.

Fork is ‘RockShox Judy SL, Solo Air spring, TurnKey lockout, tapered steerer, Boost110, 15 mm Maxle Stealth, 100 mm travel’

Cheers

Note - Would have just brought the 9 but wasn’t available until November. Not missing Summer :-)

Your fork serial number on the trailhead page should show what upgrades the fork can have.

https://trailhead.rockshox.com/en/

Spare parts catalog also shows parts.

Have you found a solution? I am thinking I could swap out the mechanism from a remote version

To switch to a remote lockout will require a different compression damper that is set up to work with one.

If you find a RS model that shares the same 30mm aluminum stanchions and is offered with a remote lockout, you might be able to use the damper from that model.
