It has its moments! Mostly wet and hot this fall so far...cooled off just in time for October, but still a month to go on hurricane season...

Beautifully intriguing little frame; unfortunately, the projects have piled up and I am on a moratorium!

For the record, it is right at my size...darn it.

Beautiful bike and tempting as well. Heck I even have a campy 10 speed group for this.

Has this been built before? It doesn't look like it has with that tall steerer sticking out but there looks to be some paint rub from a tire on the inside of the chain stay?

Yes, it was previously build up with a modern group and is now stripped down as frameset. The steerer on the fork is threadless and it was spaced up with several spaces, still on the fork and had a 17degree rise on the stem to get the bars up for the previous owner.

Where are you in Iowa? I lived in Marshalltown when I was in high school.

I'm not too far from your old stomping grounds; I live in Des Moines. Looks like the PO had to do some work to get that bike to fit with that much steerer showing. That bike is my size so I'll think about it. I don't need another project but the bike is beautiful. I actually have one Olmo but mine is from 1960 and pretty much all original:

Well...... I gave everyone a few days and then grabbed this. It just came in and is so beautiful. Paul was awesome to work with and packed the frame extremely well.

Probably won't be built up until after Christmas as it's time to start spending on family instead of the bikes. And it's so nice I now need to source the right parts for it. All my spare stuff available is nice but not good enough for this beauty.

So glad the frame came though well. I'm always a little nervous on shipping things so did everything I could think of to keep it protected. I was hoping that my spacers and bracing would work well. :-)

Well, it took forever for me to get to this. Just picked it up from the shop this evening.

Campagnolo 10 speed build with some Open Pro rims on Campagnolo hubs. As in this quick snapshot the bike is respectably 19 lbs 13 ozs.

Used a lot of black to try and make the beautiful white frame pop.

I was so close to grabbing that. Beautiful bike.

...in fact, I cannot remember what I picked up that prevented it from happening...unless I was getting overloaded with my give aways

Just over a year seems like ten recently.

That is near perfect in my mind. Wow! How does it ride?
