Brooks B17 Imperial (Brown)

Probably less than 150 miles on this saddle. It’s in excellent shape and has never been adjusted. But do note that the leather was installed at a skewed angle as can be seen in the photos of the rear. It leans toward the left. I never sensed this quirk while riding, but if you have an eye guided by OCD, it may challenge your happiness.

Includes near full tin of Proofide, adjustment wrench, and Brooks cover.

Did you mean the label?

I don’t feel the initial photos that I posted captured the color of the saddle accurately. It looked a bit drab and was missing the deep red or burgundy hues. I took a few more afterwards that offer a better representation. Here they are.

It appears that the label is riveted parallel to the leathers edge. In other words it’s “straight.” The issue is that the leather is not cut square or else it’s stretched a bit too far over the left side. Notice the two photos of the saddle bag hangers. Much more steel shows under the leather on the right side that on the left.
