2006 Bianchi Pista Alexrims AT400 bearing replacement

Hello, I am totally new to bicycles, tore my knee up and can’t run.. On the advice of my physical therapist, I just bought his 2006 or 2008 Bianchi Pista with Alexxrim AT400’s. I’d like to replace the front and rear bearings. Does anyone have a part number for the replacement bearings and any information on how to do so?Thanks.

Depends on the hub. If it takes cartridge bearings, you should be able to read the four-digit number on the outer seal. Replace with bearings of the same number.
Most shops use a bearing press to install them, which I recommend. You can also do it with an appropriately sized socket and mallet, but you risk damaging the bearing and a crooked installation. YouTube no doubt offers tutorials on both.

There's some slight play in the front wheel. The bearing looks in good shape. The only reason I noticed it is because there's almost no play in the back wheel. The sales guy at the bike shop said it's normal. The mechanic wont be back until Wednesday.
