I just don't do enough gravel riding to justify - nor do I have enough gravel around my area.

Now that bikes brother - that's a different story. The 'Huez will be in my garage at some point.

Yeah, the new ADHX 45 version is sweet with the extra tire clearance... Fortunately, I bought the ADHX just as my "all road" bike. It has 700x30s on there now but bought some 700x32s to make it a even more capable. Honestly, I didn't expect the TIME bike to ride so well. I just thought it was just good looking and well-built, and expected it to ride like my other carbon bikes. But, the TIME just "feels" good riding it. I know exactly what you mean by how well yours handles. This one feels planted and stable on descents but is still very responsive and quick to accelerate...

Keep an eye on their website... They have a "demo bikes" section, and there are some crazy deals in there once in a while.

Exactly - like a well-tuned sports car on a mountain road. My Stork is a really nice bike, but in comparison with my Time, it's nervous and twitchy and lacks the same confidence-inspiring feel.

I had the chance to buy a used VX 2 years ago... I hesitated and it was gone.

I think of this often. I’m much closer than before with my current bike, Salsa Fargo. Tweaks I would like:

- slightly shorter head tube so I can run a Redshirt stem (current stem is 70mm, 17 degree, minus position)
- levers that play well with mid-flare bars (Apex on Whiskey 12-flare not great)
- bolts on top tube for a top-tube bag

The ADHX looks like the perfect 1 bike solution. Would love to see what it looks like with 30-32s on it

I was on a local fast-n-furious group ride last night, and was talking with a guy on an ADHX who commented that it was a perfect “1-bike”. Just change wheels/tires.

I'm actually riding mine.
Vaast A/1 Frame
Enve Adventure Fork
Shimano 105 shifters
Shimano GRX 810 RD and FD
Praxis Works Zayante M30 Crankset
Wheels Manufacturing Bottom Bracket
Juin Tech Cable Actuated Hydraulic Brakes
Thomson setback seatpost
Thomson stem
PNW Coast handlebars, 520mm
Yokozuna Reaction Cable Housing
Fizik Aliante Saddle
Crank Brothers Candy Pedals

Are there better bikes out there? Sure. But I've never had a more comfortable ride, and I chose and installed every bit of it.
