GenZe batteries
Now that GenZe has decided to shut down their US operations, can the batteries still be found? My wife’s and my bikes use different batteries, since hers is a e101 and mine an e102.

Assuming their stores are all shut down and additionally you can't get the appropriate ones from the parent company in India, it's possible your batteries can be rebuilt or at the least you will be able to connect another 36V battery to your controller, maybe attaching the wires from the new battery to the connectors on the existing one. Not a perfect solution, but should work. Of course then you'll need a method to mount it.

Replacement from Amazon
You can still buy GenZe batteries for $435 plus shipping.
My original battery lasted 3 or 4 years.
I Paid almost $500 to have it rebuilt, which lasted about a year.
This time I bought a 36v battery on Amazon for $119. Opened the original battery on both ends, removed the batteries and circuit board (slides out easily), cut the wires, connected the two power wires from the end that goes into the bottom of the battery slot.
The pack I bought didn't fit in the slot, so I velcroed it to the bike.
Seems to work well so far.
