Cheapest RD that will clear 40t for 1x8 utility bike setup.
Currently have a Shimano Acera RD-M330 but I doubt it will clear the 11-40t 8 speed I want. Any cheap recommendations to clear 40t cassette? Having trouble searching for this attribute. Need capability, not performance. Thanks.

I am running a Wolftooth RoadLink to run a 40t with a max 34t RD.
No shifting issues and for a utility bike it is the cheapest option.
My setup is a 2x8 (13-40).

cheap may work, but depending on level of cheap, there is also cost over time and reliability, that said nothing wrong with the acera
