@thinktubes

I like that one - creative photography

There are a number of Portland-area BF members in this similar (and somewhat artsy) photo taken during a group ride in July 2014. I'm the one taking the photo:

This thread depresses me slightly. We are so old and unattractive.

Hey, at least we get to be old - some don't get this far, you know.

Embrace the thread. It's a sticky, so it may be around looooong after we're gone

Doesn’t even phase me that I just passed 65 y.o., and I was young and unattractive back in the day. As long as I don’t find my name in the obits it’s all good.

Pedal on lads!😏

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.......60 is the new 70.
Better than the alternative, at least I hope so.

I don't even have mirrors on my bikes anymore. Just in case another C&V rider approaches me from behind.

That's a nice, clean aesthetic right there. What other mods are you planning?

I think mainly I just need a different seatpost with a smaller offset so it fits be better and I’ve been debating a Phil wood BB so everything spins a little easier. I don’t have much planned because I want to just keep it looking that clean.

No offense meant.
Perhaps you might experiment with raising the nose of your saddle a bit for a better fit.
I do see that you have your saddle slammed forward, so you're probably correct trying less setback.
It's worth experimenting and these options are inexpensive.
Nice looking bike. What brand?
Thanks

I am old, and in my mind still good looking - my wife thinks so, and that's enough for me.

My wife used to think of me as good looking when we first met almost 20 years ago. Now she thinks nothing of me at all

No offence taken! This picture was after a ride where it shifted from a bad pothole and I didn't notice until after I posted. it's definitely comfortable but the reach it a little too far for my APE since this bike is perfect for me leg length, but I have a shorter torso and arms in comparison. I am starting with the 0 offset first since I really want to avoid changing the stem since it's a really nice Cinelli that I'd like to keep. I have more pics on another post if you want to check it out. i dig it.

Me still wearing my goggles after removing an obstinate Peugeot crankset with my angle grinder. Earlier attempts with a cotter press, hammer and drift and even a drill were unsuccessful. I needed the bottom bracket for a customers bike so I artfully and quickly dispatched the rusty cranks.

Here's the scene approaching the finish line at L'Eroica Gaiole 2018.
The bike is my 1970s Gitane Super Olympic (Super Corsa in North America).
There were hills...
