There are worse. Running into a saguaro would only be slightly worse than running into a tree...maybe a little pokier but not too bad.

Nothing recent, this from 2 years ago or so. Local cycling club members usually decorate a tree on the big rails-to-trails path. Don't think it happened this year but I haven't been over that way to check.

I haven’t found the cactus to be that much of a puncture problem when I ride down there. I’ve gotten flats from cactus here in Colorado but that’s prickly pear which has somewhat sharper needles. Goatheads here in Colorado are actually more of a problem. I got a flat from one in NOVEMBER!

No Tree for us this year, we concentrated on decorating the exterior of the house so this is the best I could do.

In this apartment of rather limited space, posing the bicycle in front of the tree would require a non-drive side shot. So of course I opted for behind the tree... Happy holidays!
