Santa Rosa - gravel tips please!

I'll be staying in Santa Rosa soon and will have one whole day for a good long outing. I know Annadel is nearby and that looks good, but I'd like to make it a longer day out than that. Any suggestions? FWIW I'll have my 650B gravel rig with knobby rubber and some pretty low gearing (set up for climbing in the SoCal mountains).

I have not bike that far north yet. Mill Valley is about 30 to 40 miles south of you and there's mt tam which is really nice.

Have you checked Ride With GPS? Here's a search for gravel rides; you can refine it as you like.

Santa Rosa

Do NOT head west on the bike path (towards Sebastopol). Nothing but bums and junkies. (Thanks Gavyn)

Try to head up to Healdsburg, Sonoma wine country, or Eastern Santa Rosa. Try Montecito avenue.

Annadel is too rough for many mountain bikers (seriously), so maybe just toddle along the periphery, but don't even think about bringing a Gravel Bike up there without a guide.
