Lightweight Shoe Recommendation
Because of some physical and balance concerns I have decided to swap cleated shoes and pedals for flat pedals and clips on my road bike - thought this would be a good forum to ask for recommendations regards light weight cycling shoes - thanks in advance .

Confusing question, at least, to me... if you're moving to regular flat pedals, you can use any shoe in the world (maybe not stilletos). Is there a more specific attribute you're seeking?

I think there's a benefit to having a certain degree of stiffness with the shoes that plain sneakers don't provide - the hybrid or general biking sub-forums are probably a better place to pose the question - mtn bikers are accustomed to heavy lugged shoes I think .

Why don't you just go to a couple shops and try some on?
