Litespeed Tuscany Handlebar Install

Just took delivery on a Litespeed Tuscany. Trying to install the handlebars and don't want to damage anything. How do you go about this?

Appears to be a black cap that needs removal and the handlebars slip on. Thanks

Pictures? If your struggling to do this, thinking that taking it to a good LBS is the best option as getting this and everything else right is quite important.

Black cap?

Handlebars are attached to the stem. The stem is not part of the frame, it's a separate component. Agree with comment above, photo needed...and a better explanation.

Thanks for the response. I will take the bike to my LBS for tune up and adjustment once I get it assembled. With the exception of the handlebars, assembly is straight forward.

My bike is a newer model with the integrated headset/handlebar. Probably a simple procedure but again I don't want to make attempts and risk damaging something. I have never posted pictures but did take some on my phone. Let me try and post them. Thanks

Thanks for the responses. Got this resolved with the help of my local LBS. My main concern was breaking something as it is all composite.

There is a black cap that conceals a hex nut. Black cap simply pops off with assist of a small screw driver. Loosen hex, remove stem, insert handle bar and tighten everything back up. Very easy but again I have little experience and did not want to damage anything.

Thanks again.
