Help finding an axle

That's what I need. The axle I have is for 120mm spacing and as such isn't long enough to fit my 130mm spaced road bike, and it's solid so I can't use a quick release. I plan to just use a QR skewer so I actually don't need any threading on the axle/don't care about it. It's proven exceedingly difficult to find a replacement axle though. All i can really find is Wheels Manufacturing Axles, Cones & Hub Parts

What sort of hub is the axle for? Cup and cone bearings or sealed cartridge bearings?

I be leave you want a 141mm hollow axle for a 130mm dropout not a 149mm axle.
Someone may want to chime in on this, as I'm not 100% sure on this.

It's actually 147mm spacing according to my caliper.
Current axle and the hub it belongs to. Ya it's cartridge bearings.

Can you let us in on the hub brand - have you checked with the manufacturer or asked a bike shop to check with distributors of that hub?

We just did a hub overhaul (actually two, Ft and Rr) on a fixie with very similar axles. We were unable to find the exact replacement through our usual sources so we wire wheeled off the rust after grinding/Dremelling off the axle nuts and two of the four bearings. (The typical uncared for bike used in the Winter and left wet over the Summer makes for a lot of rust).

I have seen retrofitting an axle which has threaded sleeves (held in place with lock nuts) which the bearings slide onto. This allows for a "standard" axle (w/out ground diameters and shoulders). Good luck finding the sleeves and the proper bearing that fits them as well as the hub shell. Andy.

It's a cane creek hub. They are no longer made and were never made hollow axle. I just need any 10mm hollow axle with 68mm spaced shoulders, I'm just not sure where to look. My googling hasn't been too helpful

The local machine shop said they could drill a hole through the axle to make it hollow, but that would take about a half hour which cost $40. And I'm not sure if that's the best idea
