Gears not shifting correctly
I was riding around town yesterday when I noticed that the the gear shifter and chain were not on the same gear. For example, If I shifted to the 7th gear, the chain would be placed on the 6th gear, If I shifted to the 2nd gear, the chain would be placed on the 1st gear. I think the problem might be a bent hanger, but I'm not sure, If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I know exactly what the problem is.
I have a vision in my mind. I know the exact make and model of your bike, and can even seen the RD in action in 4K.
I am someone that can help.
My help is to strongly suggest a visit to your local bike shop. They will fix it 100%.

if no, then the cable has somehow moved in it's clamp on the derailleur, a cable casing has slipped out of it's stop, or someone re-adjusted the cable tension for who-knows-what reason...
if yes, then you need to get the derailleur aligned... (it would be bent INWARDS quite a ways to cause what you described)
if any of this baffles you, then seek the in-person help of a professional bike mechanic... but avoid BMX-oriented mechanics since they lack basic skills important to the proper repair of your geared bike.
And a Warning: Shifting into "1st" while riding the bike May OVERSHIFT the chain and cause the chain to DAMAGE Spokes if the wheel doesn't have it's Spoke Guard disc any longer... and the DERAILLEUR may get tangled into the spokes, locking up the Rear wheel and causing far more damage.

There are dozens of How-to videos on YouTube on adjusting rear derailleurs. There are hundreds of posts in the archive for this forum on adjusting rear derailleurs. There is also an excellent series of repair and adjustment videos on parktool.com. Trust me, you are not the first rider to encounter this problem.
