Two English Raleigh 3-speed Sturmeys. What'r they worth with pics?

My Bro-in-law's bikes. Bought for $2 at yard sales. Both are called "Raleigh Sports" and have "Made in England on the TT. Components/hubs say "Sturmey Archer" on them. The labels on the bike look like an older font on the green bike.
Worth anything?
I know nothing about old bikes. Thanks for any opinions and info.
Enjoy the pics.

Look for a 2 digit date code on the Sturmey Archer hub.

Cleaned up the women's versions of these bring $50 to $100 if you are lucky. Men's versions a little more. These don't have the leather Brooks saddle which made them more desirable.

That said, for $2 these would be sitting in my basement right now. They make sweet riding bikes.

$100 for the pair, men's might be $75 of that total due to men's style worth more plus better condition and more complete.

It really depends on location, live in a red hot market like San Fran or NYC, and pricing might be 3X what I mentioned.

For the most part, ladies versions are worth more in parts than as a whole but with that said, I turned down $250 for one I have here just because I need the wheelset for a men's frame I plan to put together. Those wheels are getting hard to find in nice shape and most woman's bikes got less abuse so they tend to have nicer parts on them.
I've sold bare frames for as much as $85 but paint condition has a lot to do with what they will bring.
I also find that a matching his/hers pair is the easiest sell.
The older the better seems to be the ticket with buyers on those.
I had a stripped bare, mid 50's ladies Raleigh Sports model that sold for well over $100 on eBay about two years ago, but figured that was more of a fluke. I had listed it under a free listing offer with no reserve and to my surprise it sold.

On the other hand, I've bought most of my bikes for under $25 each, and many were trash day finds, including my cleanest Sports model which came with a matching ladies model.
