21" RRB in Chicago CL for $170. Lousy photos, but good price. Looks like one of the Tange #2 frames that Ron Boi imported. Saddle doesn't look original. Of course, the photos are so bad that this might belong in the 'Wacky' thread... https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/b...323369974.html.

From the ad: RRB CYCLES 12 speed road bike, this bike is ready to ride gears and brakes working perfectly medium size about 52 53cm good for 5 5 rider or taller good tubes and tires asking 170 ....

Actually, I'd lower the stem before riding it.

My lady's family is Czech and I'm thinking about getting this one for her brother. 27" tubulars!

Sedgemop I expect someone switched the steel wheels for a more modern set as that bike was old enough to be made with cotter cranks. I think they are (more) modern 700c replacement wheels, which is a good thing. I have a Mixte Favorit in my garage and the wheels on it are the original steel with 10 speed era hubs and they look like very thin steel, cheap old ten speed 27 inch hubs. Those might be steel rims or just old dirty aluminum.

Apparently, all Peugeots have kickstands, even the 1972 PX10 that I purchased recently from the original owner. Always the first thing to go when I get a bike...

Is there a reason why all the old Japanese bike never came with one? Picked up a Univega and Now I am looking for an appropriate stand for it.

Miyata Super Liberty - $199 - SE Michigan

A little too far away (and much too big) for me, but here's a Miyata Super Liberty in suburban Detroit. I'd not heard of the Super Liberty before and there wasn't much info about these bikes in the forums (or elsewhere), but it seems like this bike was a late 70s offering from Miyata before they began the familiar pattern of numbered models. Curious if anyone knows more. This example has a mix of Cyclone front and rear derailleurs and Dura-Ace brakes and crankset. It looks to be in great condition with a refreshingly good selection of competent photos (I'll post a few "extras" for posterity since there doesn't seem to be much online about the Miyata Super Liberty).

Frame only, still probably a good deal but I hate it when sellers do this, tear it down and be done with it.

$100 and the seller takes off the wheels. $180 and you ride (or drive) it home. Given it is listed in Boulder, I’m surprised to see it hasn’t sold yet!

Nice and quaint, a stepthrough with enclosed chain and chrome socks. Check the embossed front fender.
