My wife drives like an old lady. I'm the one always chasing the apexes.
Except in the Jeep, then I just try to stay right side up.

My wife drive like an old lady when I'm in the car, but apparently not when I'm not. Drives me crazy on the freeway, traffic streaming by on all sides....

It is not going to be above freezing here until Saturday. Three inches of snow so far, with as much as another seven due by morning. Of course, there was also supposed to be a pause, and that hasn't happened yet.

Dang it - I pulled a Bah Humbug and one of my Japanese knives got me
I just sharpened them last week, so they're shaving sharp, and was dicing onions for chili, when a horizontal slice met absolutely no resistance - the knife teleported straight through and caught my pinky on the other side of the onion. Sloppy, sloppy.

If they can drive a car really fast, dyslexic probably doesn't matter. Or backwards, for that matter. It's not like they have a lot of time to read the labels in the heat of battle.

I know from my times on the track driving at about 2/3 F1 speeds at the fastest and for far less than 75 laps, that I could not read instruments other than the tach and speedo. And, at that, the neither were looked at very much as you tend to drive by feel most of the time.

The good thing is that it was fast and painless, so my pinky didn't know to bleed until after I was away from the board.

That's the rumor. Sharp knives are definitely the better choice (mine are due for a tune-up), but I've had more than 1 incident where I got sliced before I even realized it. It turns out that being careful where your fingers are in relation to the direction of the cut is kind of important. That said, I'm convinced that knives are ruthlessly blood-thirsty.

This reminds me . . . . my step brother-in-law got himself a new car recently (he formerly had a Maserati). This time it's a Porsche, and we went for a ride to show me what this high performance beast could do. It's so awesome it's scary. Anyway it was my turn and at one point I caught myself driving at high speed on this country road with my usual one had at 12:00 style, and I said to myself "are you crazy" and switched to two hand style. lol
There was this one curve that BIL took at full speed, but when it was my turn I was too askeered to pull the trigger. My brain could not compute the command, life is too precious and just fine without that thrill.

The Panny 4S is a sneaky fast car even though it’s large. Handling is probably better than anything in its class.
Try getting a ride in one of the sports cars some day. Even faster and better handling.

I was indeed surprised three of us were able to get in there. And that turbo launch feature was like taking off in a rocket.

I always thought he was a little weird. My ex was dyslexic and it really messed with her self esteem. She found out about some classes designed for dyslexics and after she took them she felt a lot better about herself. She gained skills to cope with learning.

Sun went down at 4:22 here. I’d kill for the extra 2 hours just so my dogs aren’t chasing me for food when it gets dark. I don’t know why the US won’t go to permanent daylight savings time. The entire global economy deals with our time change twice a year - it can deal with it one final time and not have to worry about it again.
Im going to put on a third sweatshirt, have an Irish coffee (decaf), and bah humbug some more tomorrow. That said, ski season is right around the corner!
