WooHoo!!
It may not be in the BOC spirit but I thought of fabbing a not so crappy box liner for the BOC depending what it looks like when it reaches my Holy House of Patina.

More like a nuclear waste repository...! I have been told that with the liner, it blocks 73% of the radiation emitted from the toxic crap contained within...probably several of those radioactive pieces placed by me during my two goes with the BOC...

That would explain the eerie glow that emanated from the BOC when I opened it...

Well Crap-A Teers,
The mildly glowing box has been opened and here s what was found:

I have done a bit of cleaning and the box is about one pound lighter and all non-C&V items have been removed. Some bits of decals and such were pulled from the space between the liner and the actual box so they may have been passed over by a few of the former players.
Here is my take and it is all "Borked" stuff.

Removed BMX rotator parts, kids grips, and non working junk.
So it is now repacked and on it's way to the first victim. Leaves Bloomington, IN tomorrow morning. The game has begun! Smiles, Crapmaster Honk

Debbie Downer,
The Box O' Crap is not a targeted way to trade crap but rather a game to play which is partly the excitement of finding a special part in a box of parts that comes to you from a random source. The ISO thread does indeed help you in searches for special parts, but the BOC is not what you are looking for in that way. For those who are adventurous enough to play the game please sign up here. It can be a beautiful thing. When I participated in the past, I was in need of a 9cm GB stem. The universe delivered via the BOC. And it was even more rewarding to see somebody downstream from me take out most of my crap and use it for a specific build. Again, the universe delivered. I just stuffed a box as an unwitting cog in the grand wheel of time.

I picked up a box of parts with a CF x-wing from a person who did triathlons, double bottle seat mount. Someone complained about it not being CV. I don't see a rule for that. Anyway, a recipient removed the mounts and put it back in the box rendering it a true piece of crap. Thanks for keeping this going.

Oh illustrious CrapMaster, I've been debating all week. I figured I would say "add me to the list" after a few cocktails. But seeing it launch, I am going to say "add me to the list" while sober and getting ready to head out on a ride.

I'd like to think that drinking and playing the BOC game isn't advisable, but reviewing many years of posts on games of the past it's clear that it may be a requirement for many.

Oh, Great and Marvelous Crap master. I have partaken of your generous Crap taking in abstention and for your send to me various bit and bobs of marvelous crap, I thank you muchly. But thusly I will be returning to the Home of the Great Crap box I must ask to be gratuitously placed within the list somewhere that would place it in my humble abode whilst I will be in the States. I will let you know when i will be there and your magnificence will be notified when I will arrive and when I will depart.

I wonder how many crapoteers have bought and built a bike around a piece of poop found within the BOC...

Pedals, some headset bits, probably a few other odds and ends came from the BOC
@RaleighSport designed and printed these. At least once when he had the box delivered he replenished it. Rumor is that there's still a few left in the current box.

Looking at this pic I realized that the seatpost is BOC material. I've ridden this bike twice at Eroica California and twice at Cino.

@jdawginsc, I am guilty of acquiring all other parts necessary to do a sweet 3x9 build by starting with a Shimano FD-6503 that I took from the BOC. 6500 brake calipers, cranks, RD, Dura Ace 9-speed downtube shifters, brand new Mavic Open Pro/R7000 wheelset, Ultegra 9 speed 12-27 cassette. Wasn't even on my radar until that overstuffed box came my way.

The BOC has a way of knowing what you need and providing.
