Zwift:hub trainer without Zwift app.

Hi!
I recently bought a Zwift hub and I use Zwift app. It is really fun, but I would like to try other workouts like GCN Training YouTube channel workouts. How can I do that? Is there an other app I can adjust the resistance? Or I just plug the trainer in and use without any app?

I am absolutely beginner in this topic. So thank you the answers.

PS. Sorry for any mistakes. I am still learning the language.

Gergő from Hungary.

There are lots of cycling Apps you can use with the Zwift Hub. All you do is pair your trainer with them like you did in Zwift and away you go. If you Google Zwift competitors/alternatives you will soon find plenty of options and they often have free trial periods. Eg Rouvy, Wahoo SYSTM, Wahoo RGT, Fulgaz, BKool. They all have their pros and cons. I currently use Zwift, Rouvy and Wahoo SYSTM, which all compliment each other.

Note that SYSTM includes all the GCN workouts you mentioned and many, many more. So I would try this first as their library of video based workouts is huge. Plus it takes care of trainer resistance and data logging etc

Hi,
it depends on what you are looking for. If you wanna get a really good cycling experience from the surroundings and the tracks I would recommend you ROUVY, Kinomap. The footage is nice and of good quality. Zwift on the other hand has a bigger community, but personally, I donīt like the cartoon look. But like the other comments said, they have free trials, so feel free to try them out an have fun!

Petigergo, HI. I hope you are enjoying your setup already. Just wanted to ask which app did you choose in the end instead of Zwift? I am considering buying Zwift Hub and use it with Rouvy so just wanted to ask if you maybe tried this combination and what was your experience? all good?
