Back Riding my Electra C1’s

I’ve been riding my Electra C1’s this week and shifted and installed a few thing to make them more comfortable and to suit my tastes .

It’s been almost a year since I posted pictures of my Electra Cruiser 1’s .
I’ve put my Maxxis Hookworms back on , on black rims .
I’ve installed 24 tooth rear cogs to help move the Hookworms and help my old knees .
I had to extend a new chain to get a good fit with the bigger cog .
Black B-67’s Brooks on both .
I’m liking the all black one the best . It’s my oldest .

After a couple days of riding the C1’s with the Maxxis Hookworms , I decided to swap them back out for the Michelin Protek tires .
The Michelins makes it easier to pedal , especially uphill, and they’re easier to stop .
Mainly , it lowered the overall height of the bike , making it easier to get on and off .
Seemed to handle better too , less twitchy .
I prefer the look of the Hookworms, but the Michelins make the bike fit me better and are easier to ride .

I'm thinking on a new 7D, and installing a little 250W 24V front hub motor for steep hills. I think they are steel ,so that will work great for the application.
