Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Our tour leader, for whom my wife is webmaster, gave us the jacuzzi room in the hotel we're in for four nights. As a 31st anniversary thing. It was to be a 30th, but COVID.
We were told to be discreet about it with the rest of the group.

Same. We had a wonderful fall and early winter, and now it's crap. We got spoiled here and are paying the price.

Hey indyfabz, did you see that email from REI MC? They're now doing 2% back for purchases with your REI MC when used with a mobile wallet method of payment (Apple or Google Pay, etc). What's not clear to me is whether this is 2% back in dividends (doubling the dividend on non-REI purchases) or if this is a completely separate cash back on the credit card account itself.

44°A this morning. Normal for these parts. We're at 7000 feet. San Cristóbal de las Casas. A lovely old colonial city.
The coldest it ever gets at home is(has been) 52°A.

Interesting. I also heard when they were selling Paradise By The Dashboard Light, they couldn't afford a demo. When they got a meeting with an exec, they just brought the band, and did a live performance.
