That Sucks, I know the feeling. I broke the drive side crank from my original exograhm 10 speed set up. Same thing cracked at the pedal insert.

And to go further, this is one of my frustrations with companies (hi Shimano!) trying to weather the storm with their elaborate supply chains "until things get back to normal" instead of adapting and streamlining.

Also employers like mine wanting to draw a line under this and get back to acting like it's 2019.
