Bullhorns with single TT lever

Does anyone use bullhorns and only one TT lever? I'm going to drop the rear brake on my SST, but I can't decide whether to use a cross lever or just leave the left TT lever on for the front brake.

If anyone has a picture of this setup, can you please post?

You seriously cannot find any photos? It seems most people who run a brake on a bullhorn use this setup.

If you are riding on the street, using the right brake lever to actuate your front brake will allow you to use hand signals and cover the brake.

Sell both levers, get a cross lever and pocket $10-$20 in cash. Problem solved

If I were you I would leave it on. Cross top levers are just as bizarre looking as a single TT lever, if not more IMO.

Also I don't recommend signaling with one hand, with your other hand on the front brake. It could lead to you pulling the front brake riding with only one hand, which could be disastrous.

I actually bought a cross brake from Bike Island on impulse because it was only $11, but I think I'm going to leave the left TT on. I guess I'll save the cross for another build, or if I decide to try some flats or risers. Thanks guys!

The reach on my horns is perfect. It feels great to get aero on them while sprinting or bombing down a hill.

^i thought so too. that is until i started using rollers. i feel like my riding geometry is 1000x better now. changed my saddle, seatpost height, toe clip length, and now reach/bar height (which would be fixed by 150mm drops).

Looks good. I figured that if I'm actually going to use my front brake, it'll probably be one of those "oh ****" moments, and I'm not going to have much control braking on the flats near the stem.
