Back on the Bike !

For me my biking stops right after Thanksgiving because work goes insane during the holiday season. This year was even crazier since I switch the company from a wholesale company to a retail company in early July. Working seven days a week 10 to 12 hours meant my riding was on hold. But all good things must come to an end and now it's back to normal and my regular work week with half day Fridays starting back up in January. So, I took advantage of a four-day Christmas weekend and got out for a few rides. I think I'll make New Year's weekend a four-day weekend also just for fun. My winter riding area is flooded out ahead of its normal time frame, so I really need a deep freeze to move in for a bit to help make it easier to get to some of the trails. Oh Ya a few feet of snow are welcomed at any time now, come on winter let's get going.

I can deal with one month of the year being crazy at work. Now it's back to normal at work and half day Fridays until next year's Christmas season. But I sure do miss my bike for that month long period.

It is a great area that I lived next to for 30 years and come back for my winter riding.

Wouldn't mind riding the trails around a few reservoirs and parks in my old haunts. Very similar to your video. But 600 miles makes it a bit of a drive. Moving back doesn't seem to be in the cards.

Over 100 miles of trails and I only moved a 15-minute car ride away. I also have 5 other really good trail networks that surround me with a 20–40-minute drive away.

Great video! (And thanks for the real-time no-music sound track!) I was twisting around here on the couch to avoid those trees you kept almost running into.

Thanks! It is a fun area to play in, and a little huffing and puffing is my music.
