Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just picked up my new CAAD12 105 in matte black and grey. The pictures online don't do it justice. I love the colors in person. I had some Reynolds ergo carbon bars, bonty paradigm RL saddle and Time xpresso 10s put on it at the shop. I'll probably flip the stem after I ride it a bit.

For the record, I know these are breaking photo conventions, I haven't even ridden it yet and this isn't hot or not..

Just joined the forum today and I thought I should share since I'm so excited about my bike. Just bought a brand new bike after riding a generic bikesdirect bike for years. I went with the 2016 Specialized Tarmac Expert. Its got the full Ultegra groupset and brakes and the FSA Carbon crank. I hated the paintjob in the catalog but it looks fantastic in person. Oh and it rides like a dream! So happy with this bike.

My new trusty steed! Trek Domane 2.3.

Absolutely love it! Use it mainly for commuting to and from work however try to get at least one leisure ride in a week.

It's very comfortable and very fast. So glad I took the plunge into the road bike variety!

I like the Salsa Colossal, but are there no rack/fender accommodations on that frame?

Nope. I don't really mind but I could definitely see that being a deal-breaker for some people.

New here and new to road biking. I had a few mountain bikes about ten years ago but never got serious. I just bought this 2013 Felt F75 and I'm loving it thus far.

Ridley Fenix Force 22. Carbon frame, forks, and crank. Love the Sram Force 22 groupset. Still tweaking the fit, bars definitely went down after this photo.

So jealous - I wish I could get my hands on one of those frames. Alas.
