So we really try to avoid politics and religion talk on our rides, because even though we share a love for cycling, our P&R is all over the map.
One of the guys has a birthday coming up and plans to do a special ride to celebrate. He does not proselytize, but I am aware that he is LDS (the religion formerly known as Mormon).
Should I :
A. Say “hey, I thought you guys are not allowed to celebrate your birthday!”
B. Offer to buy him a coffee/latte/cappuccino at the cafe after the birthday ride
C. Keep such subversive ideas to myself
I am thinking C is the most mature approach.

I used to have a partner who was Jewish when it was profitable to be so. He would boast about how his wife kept a Kosher kitchen, and how it was important to him (his dad was a rabbi). But, we would go out for dinner and he'd order shrimp and other shellfish, pork, and other meats that were not prepared per shechitah.

Specifically, no "hot drinks", by which was meant coffee and tea. By extension, it meant all caffeine, even if in a cold drink (cold-brew, cola, etc) or solid (though chocolate gets an exemption as near as I can tell). And herbal tea is ok as far as I know.

Correct. No alcohol either. Honestly I would rather give up alcohol before coffee.

Our state AG has declared that certain IG filters (I assume the ones that put on stupid ears or whatever) are illegal in the state. To save us from creepy big tech facial recognition privacy invasion. I feel so safe and cared for.

Power meter installed and ready to rock and roll. Did a short test ride to make sure it paired with my garmin unit. All good to go.

Watching the news and there are dozens of homes burning in Laguna Niguel. Depressing.

Tonight's fortune cookie.
Thinking about Come Hither Red for the lips. Question is, do you match the nails to the lips or use a complimentary color?
