So far my kryptonite lock has been good through snow and rain no issues

That's so weird, I've never had a problem with a Foldylock opening, and some problems with U-locks generally. I'm not doubting you, I'm just utterly surprised this would happen twice.

Most people who own bikes also have bike locks, allowing them to leave their bikes unattended while performing other errands. Have you ever considered what to do if you unexpectedly experience an issue with a lost key for a bike U lock, regardless of the type of bike lock you invested in?
