Old Bianchi - please help ID?

Hello everyone, I am trying to determine the model and FMV of my bike. It was my Dad's, and I rode it in the 2010 NYC Triathlon. Has gotten a little rusty in the garage in recent years so thought I would explore a sale in case someone is interested in rehabbing this lovely old bike. Here are some identifying markers: Serial #C1785, 57cm, celeste (with some scratches), "Made in Italy" sticker, "costruita nel reparto corse," "Campione del Mondo" sticker on head tube, Campagnolo Racing Triple rear derailleur, Campagnolo Chorus on crank arm and brakes, Columbus Cromor TSX Ultralight tubing, ITM "Super Italia Pro-2" handlebars marked "Made in Italy," and some Rubino Pro Vittoria tires I put on in 2010 that probably need replacing. Thank you for any guidance you can offer!

TSX-UL. That frames was based on the tubing it was made with.

TSX was apparently a higher-end tubing. Here's some info I gleaned about it...

Columbus TSX

released in 1986, was made of Cyclex Cromo Steel and is lighter than the SLX model. All the main tubes used internal helicoidal reinforcements. Ideally, TSX was made for long-distance races over mixed terrain.

Specifics, and how it compares to other Columbus framesets can be found here:
The Bicycle Info Project :: Columbus tubing chart

The condition of your bike is very good from what I can see. It needs a good bath but I don't see much rust at all. Any cleaning should be of the "gentle" variety.

You are welcome. Bianchigirll is likely to see this thread also and she can help to nail down the specific model probably.

How many speeds? I’d have to look it up to certain but I think that dates to ‘93/94ish. How many speeds would narrow down the year. The Reparto Corse models were simply identified by the tubing and group offered on it such as TSX Chorus, SBX Ultegra etc.

after a good cleaning and overhaul you might get $800 to 1000 in your LA area assuming the drivetrain isn’t worn out. As it sits I’d probably offer $350 or so because of all the work and possibly replacement parts it need

Thanks Bianchigirll ! I think it's 8 speed. I cleaned it up a bit yesterday but yes drivetrain for sure needs knowledgeable eyes on it from a repair shop.

For information purposes for the group... I wound up selling it for $500 to a super nice man who knows his way around bikes and is going to rehab it for his son. Thanks again everyone for your help!
