ROUVY Virtual Partners
Observation following ROUVY upgrade to 2.11.0.91
Am I unusual that I like to test my performance against previous timings?
I used to try and improve my times round the running track.
Lewis Hamilton is always competing against himself on the racing circuit in pursuit of the perfect lap.
Until a fortnight ago I was able to record a time on a selected ROUVY route and for my next attempt at a Time Trial on that route select my previous time as a Virtual Partner. By riding against your own avatar I was able to identify the sections of the course where I could improve, and there’s a real buzz to beating a previous best.
However, following the upgrade to ROUVY 2.11.0.91, that has all changed.
I can set my benchmark time as previously and happily select that time as a Virtual Partner for my next ride, but that Virtual Partner just sits on the Start Line and watches you pedal off into the distance! What’s the fun in that?
Has anybody else experienced this change in behaviour with the latest release?
