Tubeless tyres; wet area on tyre when left overnight

While riding a few weeks back I had a puncture in my front tyre. The Orange Seal did it's job and I was able to ride home. I pumped up the tyre and the tyre had held air ever since. Except...when I take the bike down from the wall (all my bikes hang by the front wheel) there is a wet spot/mark on the tyre where the puncture happened.

Suggestions on what steps to take next? Do I need to put in a plug? I've never done that before. The plugs I bought (after reading about them here on the forums) are the Genuine Innovations ones.

Patch it from the inside and dab some glue in the outside.

Like you, I had a tubeless puncture last year that sealant did not repair properly. So, I dismounted the tire and applied a proper patch on the inside. It has been fine ever since

Thanks for the info/recommendation. Any particular patch you'd recommend?

I've got one now, punctured on Saturday, sealed, but opened up again (and re-sealed) this morning. I have a Dynaplug kit, so I'm going to try this. In part because I've never used it and want to be sure I know how to use them.

If the tyre had loose pressure overnight I'll repair it from the inside otherwise I mark the place on the tyre with a white cray and let do the work by the sealant storing the tyre with the mark at 6 o'clock.

Btw, the Genuine plugs you bought will come out after a while because of the high pressure in the tyre, better is to use the Dynaplug kit.!

I popped a Dynaplug into my tire last night, worked great, sealed the hole immediately and there is no sealant weeping from it overnight. Will see how it holds up. I'm guessing I've got maybe 500-800 miles left on this tire, so it's a good one to experiment with.

Yes, yes and yes that will work from the inside only I put an piece of tubeless tape round 10mm on the perforation before patching it from the inside. Otherwise the high pressure will push the patch trough the perforation after a while.

I put 75 miles on my tire with the Dynaplug over the weekend. No leaks.
