My guess is there's a naughty word (perhaps not even an English curse) buried in one of the words that gives their auto-censor heartburn. Too much heartburn, perhaps they just reject the text completely. The patterns they use don't restrict the naughty wordmatching to word boundaries. That's why you sometimes see a URL posted with a bunch of asterisks in the middle. I offered to fix their naughty word detector a few years ago, but they ignored my offer.
