White Industries Aft Track Freehub Replacement

The other week, I picked up 3 wheels after responding to a Facebook Marketplace listing. It was for a set of wheels from a Trek 9900 and a second rear wheel. The wheelset has White Industries Aft Tracker hubs on Mavic rims. When I went to remove the cassette for cleaning I noticed a small crack on the freehub body. Getting the cassette off was more difficult than it should've been, and when I finally did remove it, I found the freehub body was cracked all the way through. I let the seller know (who had already sold the wheels are an incredibly fair price), and they were more than accommodating. No complaints there.

My problem now is that when I messaged White Industries, they said they no longer offer replacement freehub bodies for the hubs. I've had trouble finding any information about them, actually. Is there a non-W.I. freehub body I could use or do I have to hope to find an Aft Tracker freehub body somewhere?

I'd try over on retrobike.co.uk as well in wanted section. Slightly higher concentration of fancy lightweight MTB stuff over there.

I have a useable rear wheel (the third from the sale), and the seller has already done more than enough to remedy the situation. I have no reason to believe there was any deceit or malice involved. I'm only interested in learning what my options are for a replacement freehub body.

Please don't pay any mind to that response. He seems to not read/comprehend what's been written before responding. Just sayin. Any idea if there is a comparable Shimano freehub body?

Might one of these match up?

Almost certainly not. There are a few after market hubs that used Shimano freehubs back in the day. I have a set that clearly have an old 8spd XT freehub. White Industries is not one of those companies, it's made by them for better for worse. Nothing else is going to swap in easily.

I suppose I'll be making a few postings in various classifieds then. I assumed it was proprietary, but would be happy to be proven wrong with evidence.

I kind of shudder to post this source as I have no idea who they are, but it appears to be what you are looking for...

I came across that during my initial searches, and for some reason assumed it was an old listing, but it does look current. A quick Google does bring up a shop in Canada. May be worth giving them a call to see what's up.
