Plastic seal on new tube of grease
Hello! Stupid question coming. I am brand new to bike mechanics. I bought a tube of Park Tool PolyLube, and when I removed the cap, I see that the tip of the tube is sealed shut with a layer of plastic. I've seen this on a few different products that come in similar plastic tubes. Any tricks to break that seal open??? Thank you!

Can you clip the end of the tube with scissors? Or puncture the plastic with a nail or needle? I'm not sure about the problem.

Looks to me like you just cut it off with a utility knife.

Don't tell me Park doesn't make a $50 tool just to open their grease!

Rule #1 of bicycle maintenance (or maybe it's Rule #2)...if you can't figure out how to open the tube of grease, you may want to hold off on tackling the more intricate aspects of bicycle mechanics.
