Addiction 2021.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Working in the fancy neighborhood is paying dividends. I've gotten $40 in tips so far today.

I think back then I might have just been riding the Zwift Carbon bike, but with the DT Diecuts. With my 2021 Aeroad, I'd have beaten him by 0.2 seconds, instead of 0.1!
given the general crappiness of the gfx engine, I certainly don’t understand dropping $$ on a computer to run Zwift

Vacation days? What are they? I need a new job. Currently it’s no work, no pay.

Our company gives you Administrative Leave for COVID vaccine side effects so you don't need to use sick leave.

The other reason I'd want a new computer to run Zwift is that the old laptop I'm currently running it on takes FOREVER to load any of the worlds, after taking FOREVER to launch Zwift.

Is your practice independent? I’ve seen a trend with physicians selling and becoming employed, especially in the Ortho world at my old company.

Yes.

Sadly, it’s illegal for physicians to unionize, or so I have been told.

My regular laptop is fine as far as launch and loading worlds. But its HDMI socket stopped working. Not just for Zwift, but for everything. It started with sporadic, 1 second drops but got progressively worse. But it didn't seem to KNOW the socket wasn't working, so the screen never shifted back to the laptop display and neither did the sound.
