I’m afraid my parts bin does not contain such a specimen. You sure you don’t want to go Shimano?

Those are pretty much "unobtainium," in my experience. When I needed one, I fabricated my own out of a piece of 1/2" steel rod (the radius closely matches that of the original). Slice off a section to fit the recess in the post cap, drill a hole through it, split it to match the original piece, and tap the hole with M5 thread:

Nuts
I find half the battle in finding a unique nut, is knowing why it exists. Then you can go looking for others to meet that need.
So... I think I got close.
Those are Roll In T Nuts. Not sure they will work in aluminium, but now you have a description.
Those particular ones are on EBay

Still, I was shaken to find that there was something you didn't have. That has never happened in my experience. Must I now entertain the possibility that it could someday happen again? I suppose I must.

Thanks, Neal, but my staunch adherence to originality on this project dictates a Suntour AG rear derailleur And I already have one that sort of works, though it limits my cog use on the small chainring. I'm looking for the higher-capacity model so I won't have to worry about that.

Looking for a quill stem for a 1" fork. Alternatively, I would take just the wedge, because stupid me threw it away by mistake.

Someone likely has a wedge, if you mean the bog standard wedge. Some stems used conical expanders. If you're getting a stem, what length do you need?

Close--that's the 5000 model, which is the one I already have. (I also have the front derailleur pictured.) I'm looking for the 5600 version, which has a longer cage and a capacity of 40 teeth, rather than 34, like the one pictured. I think there might have been a couple of iterations of the 5600--on one, the bottom part of the cage was squared off at the bottom, rather than rounded. But there may also have been a rounded version of the 5600. I did once have a squared-off 5600, but it was very worn and consequently sloppy.

Just throwing out a nutty idea, but might another model of SunTour derailleur have a long cage which can substitute for the shorter cage on the 5000? Pot another way, might the 5600 have shared a cage with a more common derailleur in SunTour's lineup?

One wrinkle is that 20-tooth cog is on a threaded driver. I also have no idea if it works as I've never had it in a wheel. Interested? I'm sure we could work out a trade.
I also have other 4-speed triggers though they all seem to have relatively week springs for the lowest gear.

Living in Canada and our mailing prices are ridiculous so probably better to pay for a set than try for a trade for now. Obviously I eat the mailing.
Looking for a black set of 105 brakes and levers. Going on a Quintana Roo Superform so looking for somewhat presentable.
Any for sale? I'll post on the for sale thread if no luck here

Hello,
I am now in a loft apt with a few bikes that fit my daily use rule. I will be this way for a year while my other bikes and “The Wife” stay in my house untouchable or so till I complete the NC uncontested divorce law...
This give me time to look for parts I really want to finish the frames I have.
ISO: Rudge “The hand” crank.
If you have one and willing to part with LMK! I want this part!
This will probably turn into a continuous hunt for other parts as I get ready to gain my workshop back.
Regards, 3speedslow
