was this when SE and the Sirrus split?
that should be an 88. According to my 89 catalog the sirrus came in white or ivory/burgundy.

unfortunately I just sold my 87 Sirrus Frame and included the stock bars and stem otherwise I would have sold you this stem.
Mine was a 56 cm bike which is why I sold it

My bars look very similar but have nothing stamped on the front.,,,,BD

I was looking at other 87 sirrus' on the web and I noticed another 87 with no engraving on the bars. I wonder if they skipped that on the Sirrus.
my 85 Allez has it as well as my 88 Allez.
maybe someone else with an 87 can chime in. Mine was a bit of a Frankenbike. Some stuff on mine was not original.

Ha, Ha! So right about that! Had to read it 3 times before I found the mis-correction... sometimes I introduce my wife as autocorrect, but that’s another can o’ worms.

Autocorrect is like television and facebook -- the best way to keep it from failing is to turn it off.

I knew the bars had to be Nitto made, despite being unmarked. The drops feel just like other Nitto bars I've had on other bikes.,,,,BD

Woohoo, found some white perforated vinyl bar tape. Probably bike ribbon, but it wasn't shown in the package on the website. Also ordered a 26.0 Origin 8 road stem in silver. Some acetone should lose the logos. Just couldn't justify a Nitto. If I decide to keep it maybe in the future. It will get the bars closer in and look great.
