Bike Fit in OC

Any recommendations? Actually, I do know of one place, but they tend to fit on the aggressive side, I'm looking for a fit more suited for touring, century riding.

Have you heard of Eileen Olson in Costa Mesa? Not a shop. She works out of her home. A coach and with pro mechanic Bill McPherson who worked with Astana when at Tour of Calif.

I had an excellent experience with Nate Loyal at Helen's in Santa Monica.

I thought I was going to need knee-surgery before seeing him. Funny how just a few little adjustments of less than half a cm made such a colossal difference--I just rode 92 miles (& 8500 feet of climbing) yesterday and my knee felt perfect this morning.

I've heard nothing but good things about James Manton former owner of Sand Canyon Cyclery, now Irvine Cyclery. I understood he was quitting the owner/manager to do fit full time.

Damon Roberson works out of Surf City Cyclery and does fits for all types or riders and budgets. The have pedal scan, and Specialized's new motion capture computer aided fit system. You can actually see the before and after on the screen after the fit.....pretty impressive and state of the art.

+++ for James. I had several fit sessions with him, and i would highly recommend him. He is now at www.finalfit.com. He is still in the same location in Irvine.

Yes, he is now running Final Fit at the same location....well....the next room over, but it is one of the store in a store situations.

I had my Felt F75 fitted by him and it was the quickest adjustment to something new I've ever had. If you do go, more information you can give him the better. I had a lot of aches and pains on the first ride of the Felt and relayed them to him and explained they were probably more of a fitness problem and not a fit problem. I was in and out in less than an hour, I found my new favorite bike company.
