Orbea bikes... good ?
Hello.
I'm a 22 year old (Belgian) guy and I'm going to buy a new road bike with a flat steer.
I'd like to buy an Orbea bike (Orbea Neos https://217.22.58.186/yak-system/publ...=272&m=Neos_06)
but I don't know if these bikes are good.
From the age of 12 tot 14, I did competition in road cycling, so I'm quite demanding
Can anyone tell experiences about these Orbea bicycles?

Flat handlebars!!? Agh! Get out! 
Orbeas are great bikes - I've had a chance to try their lower-priced models and they perform excellently. Why not go with drop bars? You used to race, man; get out there and at least get another taste of it!

I love my opal after 3500 miles. It replaced a TREK Madone 5.9 that was stolen along with my truck. While I miss them both I miss the truck alot more.

Has Orbea taken a page out of the BD marketing book?
Yes Orbea is awesome, you won't get much flat bar support in this forum, but it is your money and bike, I would want a bike with the SRAM components, my LBS just started carrying Orbeas and thoses components are sick!!!!

Great bikes! Can't comment on that specific model, but I'm riding the Orca ('05 model year) and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I tried quite a few different ones before I bought this one and it just fit me the best.

When I was frame shopping, I test rode an '05 Orca, and it was really a beauty.

OP, you can't go wrong with an Orbea. They're well made, light, and (sometimes) reasonably priced. GO FOR IT!

I just bought the Volata model. Sweet bike, very good on the corners. Campy Mirage 9-speed, Mavic Akysium wheelset. The only thing I'm going to change out is the brakes. The stock brakes are Zeus but I'm going to put on Campy Centaur in it's place. Sticker price was $1299.

I love my Dauphine I got last year. I plan on keeping it until I graduate college in about 2 years. Frame is very solid and feels smooth and overall Orbea, in my opinion, makes some of the best looking bikes.

My wife and daughter share a Orbea Mitis. Great Bike. I road it for about 15 miles and it is very smooth and handles beautifully. Plus, they are great looking bikes.

Have a Orbea Lobular 100. Handles, climbs and sprints very well. Have put a 1,000 miles on it with no problems.

I know Orbea is stopping production of the '06s, so you might have trouble finding them as they're getting ready to roll out the '07s. If you have the money, the '07 Orca is absolutely gorgeous!!
