Shopping: new comfort hybrid with silver polish
My wife's bike was stolen a week ago. Shopping for a new one. She wants silver components. Can't find one! Seems like everything is gloss or satin black this year. Anyone have a lead?
It was a Raleigh Route 4.0. Shopping for 24 speed or better, so it can get a 1x11 conversion. A prettier frame color would be nice too. I don't think she is interested in a single-downtube model like a Verve.

I like that bike and that build especially a lot. I'm a commuter. But she wouldn't. She wants a bike for the neighborhood and the RV, mostly.

Never noticed or thought about it before, but looked at several mfrs. sites and didn't see any with silver components!

Have you looked at the Raleigh Venture? Venture 2 Step Thru | Raleigh Bikes (raleighusa.com) It's about as silver as silver gets these days.
Bianchi may have a few for you here: Turismo – Bianchi
Schwinn also have a few that may interest her: Hybrid Bikes | Shop Men's & Women's Styles - Schwinn – Schwinn Bikes
You may also want to just build her one. Find a frame she likes and go from there. Or, look at used classic and vintage bikes on local used goods sites to see what's out there. She may find what she likes in something like an older Trek, Specialized, Peugeot, etc. You never know what you'll find. Or, build up a new Soma Buena Vista: Buena Vista Disc Frame Set | SOMA Fabrications

The bikes I figured wouldn't be totally blacked out like so many are now, would be from Bikes Direct.
Yet, even they are sold out of all ladies bikes:
Example: https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...city-bikes.htm
EDIT: My bad, above link points to a bike with a freewheel, not cassette.

Coda: We found a replacement Raleigh Route, probably a year or two older than hers, in purple with plenty of bling.
