Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What data does one track in sailing?

Time to start, time elapsed, boat speed, speed over ground, compass heading, course over ground, waypoint distance, waypoint bearing, velocity made good, distance to starting line, true wind speed, true wind angle, apparent wind speed, apparent wind angle, wind shifts, depth, water temperature. That’s the numbers and then there’s endless graphics.

In the water?

I don't get sailing.

On the sailing stream they were summarizing a race and said one boat had to finish after another boat to win the gold medal. wut

Had a rear tubeless flat on me Colnago 12 miles from home. Sealed fine and made it in, no problem, except the back of my bibs and my bike are going to need a serious cleaning.
