Installing other chainring brands on Sram Omnium chainset

I recently built my first track bike with a used SRAM Omnium crankset, but just realized that it doesn't play well with other brands of chainrings.

Are there any simple solutions for installing other brands of chainring on this crankset?
Get some different bolts? Use spacers?

First I've heard of that problem. Any 144bcd chainring should fit and if it doesn't, it will after 3 minutes with a file.

I believe the issue is the thickness of the Omnium rings. They are 5mm thick where they attach to the crank arm. Many rings have a 3mm or 4mm thickness.

I swapped an Omnom ring with an Andel. I used the Omnom chainring bolts with no issue. Try using the Omnom bolts and throw in a spacer if need be.

The new ring fits but are too thin to use with the standard bolts I have.

Did you buy the Andel ring individually? I don't see them for sale anywhere. The one on my Wabi Pro/Andel Deluxe crankset is the first one I've had that's perfectly round with no chain tight spots.

Wabi used to sell rings individually on their website. Don't know if they still are with the inventory shortages. I have my perfect gear ratio with my current 46t setup so I won't be upgrading to the Pro any time soon. Though they do sound nice.

I tried again and managed to get the rings on, even though they are way thinner than the stock Truativ rings.

They just came out with the Pro crankset, I may have bought the first one and they don't sell rings for it. I think they were talking about maybe looking into getting them.

What type of chainring are you using? I've put an aarn and a blackspire on my omnium cranks using the factory chainring bolt with zero issue. Sounds like the ring you are using is thinner.

When i put an aarn on my rotor crankset I needed longer bolts since the rotor bolts were too short.
