Not so. I have known lots of judgmental women and I don't think that any one of them was a "pro".

Seriously, if you like hip hop check this guy out. Lowkey, he's a rapper from the UK. His flow is nasty and he's damn good. Here's a sample:

Rediscovered my love for metal.

Megadeth, In Flames, Iced Earth, Opeth, and Metallica on shuffle. Badass.

Dang, I have that on vinyl and will have to dig it out along with Headhunters. I don't think that I have played either one in 15 or more years. They used to be in my heavy rotation.

It's great stuff.

I have been listening to more fusion in the past year or two than anything else really. Headhunters, Return to Forever, Weather Report, Mahavishnu orchestra, John Scofield, Medeski Martin and Wood, and of course Miles...

The list goes on...

While in college back in the early 70's I introduced a lot of people to Miles by playing "A Tribute to Jack Johnson".

I have all of those on vinyl. Love them all, but I would have to say that "On the Corner" was played a lot less than the others.

Going to see Pat Metheny on Sunday.

Metallica - And Justice For All just popped up on my random ipod list.

I feel like I'm in high school again, and it feels fun.

It did startle a few.

When I go home tonight I'll have to dig this one out and give it a spin for my 18 year old son as part of his musical education.

I took him to see Pat Metheny last night in all his orchestrion splendor and he was totally blown away. So was I. It was an amazing show.

I hated HS. I was "grunge" in 1971 down to the unkempt hair, flannel shirts, et al. I was so eager to get out of that place that I applied to colleges for admission before I actually graduated and got the "F" out at the first opportunity.

Was whistling the chorus from this in the pack yesterday.

I highly doubt anyone knew wtf it was... but they knew I was there at least.

Then we bumped Master P on the way home, for old time's sake. Man he's funny. "Make 'em say ugggghhhhhhhhhhhh!" (anyone? anyone?)

In 1970 I was 15/16 years old and listening to Miles, the Dead, and Zappa. I was still listening to the Yardbirds, Jimi, The Who, and Cream. Led Zep was mildly entertaining. Black Sabbath was crap.
