Sigh - new bike....dangit...
I had a rough week so I went to the lbs I work at on weekends to shoot the bull. Usually makes me feel better. One of my buddies who's a mechanic calls me back and shows me this cool Giant '06 Advanced frame. It was on close out. It was really cheap. Next thing I know the mangager, my mechanic friend, and I are pulling my old bike apart. A couple of hours later I walk out with this:
I ended up getting a new seatpost, rear derailer, and brakes too. Sigh. Oh well, it is a whole 1.4 pounds lighter than the Scott... Here's some more pics:

Best to keep the white garage door.
Does look good though --- nice change of pace.
Bike looks good too, BTW.

Even with the cables in the way, I would rather see a picture like this tha the garage door.
Thanks for not showing us your garage door.

Looks good, although (you knew there'd be an "although" lol); from the looks of your set up, it looks a size to big for you...let me clarify my comment: with a zero set back seat post, and your saddle pushed that far ahead, the top tube must be too long for you, or you're used to riding a tri/tt setup, and want a roadie to emulate it...just a thought.

Thanks all!
Siu and Kevin - I'm lacking just a few parts to build the Scott Speedster frame back up. I'll probably do that and make it a "crit bike".
The size is still really being dialed in. I'm hard to fit actually. I have short legs and a long torso. Stem was from the previous bike so I should probably get a shorter stem and scoot the seat back the corresponding amount. EDR is good at bike fitting so I'll probably get his take on it tomorrow.

It certainly takes some time to get a bike dialed in, and I have zero idea what your leg to torso proportions are.
Get her dialed in, ride her hard, put her away wet! lol
Then: go out, talk nice to her, clean her up, and get her ready for another fine ride
disclaimer: I always refer to bikes/cars/boats/planes/Jeeps as female.

Hehe - someone else said I should name it "The Saint" after the New Orleans Saints because of the colors.
Btw as pictured the bike comes in at 16.9 pounds. I have plans to shave that down to about 15 pounds with wheels and shifters upgrades. It never ends, does it?

Nice looking bike, however let us know if it flexes more than the scott. The last MS150 I did I met a guy with that frame and he just didn't like it.
Give it a few hammerings up hill and let us know if you like it..........
