One hypothesis is that it comes from France - 'chocolat et creme'. BTW, there's also no cream in it. It's just thin, fizzy chocolate milk.

One night in about 1969 or 70 some *******s kicked the door down at night and stole all the liquor and cigarettes they could carry. The store closed after that. He was really upset and felt betrayed. We all knew who did it but nothing happened to them.
People are living in the building now and I took a picture of it last year when I rode by.

47 grams. That’s enough sugar to kill a horse.

So…my cycling cleats are just about dead. I am having painful hot spots on both feet and my feet just feel blah after short rides (which is all I do in the winters). My current shoes are 10+ year old Mavics with two Velcro straps in the front and mid-foot and a ratcheting style lock-in near the ankle.
I want to get new shoes and am focusing on speed of getting them on and off in transition zones during triathlons and am looking at Sidis with the Boa tie downs. Does anyone have them? Feedback? Thoughts/comments/consternations??

One other issue, the Sidi "Boa" is not really a boa but a boa-knockoff. I know some people like them but some do not. I am still using older generation Sidi Genius with two velcro straps in front and a ratchet/buckle closer to the back. I am fine with that system TBH.

NYC has always had great water. But I’m loathe to even comment on the topic, so many places are having water problems lately.

I was looking at the new Sidi Genius too, but it doesn’t have the “Boa” tie downs.

Understood, but in that case be sure you buy from a place that has a good return/exchange policy.

The house I grew up in had a deep well (I forget how deep but a few hundred feet) and the water was amazingly good and cold, so refreshing on a hot day.
