Quick winter photoshoot of the Krapf Bike

Took it out in between snow showers today to get some shots of the build. Not my best work but shows detail of how I finished it up. Mainly Suntour Superbe parts except for the Dura Ace chainrings and FD. Oh, and the Campagnolo Record headset and Campagnolo Centaur BB. I have a Superbe headset but the Campagnolo ones are just so nice. Went with modern Tektro brake levers for the cleaner look and much cheaper price than a set of Superbe ones. 3TTT stem, Nitto Seatpost and a Soma HWY One handlebars. Not all that happy with the brake pads on this one but noting else in my stash would work on these calipers. Tires are some Vittoria Corsa 700 x 23 tires on some lower end Shimano Wheels. I'll be looking for better wheels on this one most likely but the hubs seemed just fine when I serviced them.

Hard to work against all the white snow and shifting light....

That's about 6 ft of snowed piled up behind the bike.

Suntour crank that had black chainrings I swapped out for these silver Dura Ace ones.

RD is not happy when on the 52t up front and the 26T in back. But since I don't ride cross-chained like that I don't care.

Chrome capped seat stays!

The paint is really nice on this one.

27.2 seatposts weren't really fitting well even after honing things out. Found this nicely polished Nitto that had been sanded down .1 mm and it's a perfect match.

That's a pretty 3TTT quill too.

Red, Orange, Yellow colors. Maybe I should call this one ROY. LOL!

Dressing up the bottle cage a bit

My favorite friction shifters.

This is one pretty fork!

Nice detail on the BB.

The shop it came from in Switzerland

Mmmmmm.....Superbe

Dressed up the bar tape with black, white, and orange finishing tape

More Superbe

This thing is sexy!

But of course, it's Swiss. Well, sorta since Vanni Losa did build it.
