Universal cycles blowout on Brooks messenger bags and backpacks

I couldn’t begin to explain to you how the bike business works, I don’t understand it. These all say both new item, and close out. So I guess they must have found a pallet of them in someone else’s warehouse.

backpacks and messenger bags and a variety of colors so you can look all British if you want.

Just to make sure this is on topic, nearly all of these have some kind of padded laptop sleeve. The briefcase can take a Klickfix rail

Things are afoot at Brooks. They got bought by Selle Royal late last year, and the Pro model got discontinued recently(!) It would seem that they are trying to streamline their business...

I thought that happened years ago before the Cambium seats.

I looked at some of their inventory on the ones that appealed to me. Some of them are ones and twos, some they have 300. I myself would not go for most of the backpacks, I like padded shoulder straps. The briefcase looked cool for commuting to work but not sufficient for groceries or anything like that.

Yeah, now I'm having doubts about that. The Brooks site has this at the bottom:

But Wikipedia says Brooks was bought by Selle Royal in 2002, so I'm not sure what it was that transpired recently.

Backcountry on the Amazon site just lowered the price of the Brooks Pitfield backpack to $31.98. I just bought 1. There are 6 left.

$31.98 at Amazon
