In the 4K TT where he set a world record (not an Olympic race - is it?) - no
In the TTT pursuit, it really is a team thing. I do not expect a USA win.
In the end, he is very powerful short term and very aero. But he is not a sprinter and not an endurance rider (that we have seen).
So I'm not so sure this will result in a USA medal.
In the Pursuit - I think that is USA's best chance.

His story is interesting. A strong gravel rider who happened to find track racing. Then gets a world record. Awesome stuff.

Lambie runs a group ride in Zwift
He’s running a Wed afternoon (US central time) group ride in Zwift. I have not yet done it since it falls between my two race days and I don’t want to be tempted into a hard sprint on a recovery day.
