Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good ride in.

It won’t last I reckon.

I'm about to begin stretching activities so here's the short answer. I am gifted with both left and right brain skills - creativity but also technical/analytical. It's a good combination and is why I'm so awesome. I am sure you can tell by the quality of my posts.

Now stretching commences.

How long do stretching activities run? You don't post them on Strava.

I don't remember much detail, I imagine I brought the standard necessities, although I still have evidence I brought my albums, including this guy, my idol at the time, plastering a whole wall off-campus.

I didn't take anything to college. I was already married, so I lived at home.

69 miles this morning. 25 mph winds. I need a new weather app. Rode out to Belle isle did a couple of laps. As I turned onto the bridge I passed a guy who turned out to be a buddy of mine from our Thursday ride. So we did a couple of laps together and I rode with him in the direction of home until he turned off.
I hit 33mph on the backside of the island. Man that felt good!

Did you have your own typewriter? Or did you have to go to the typing room?

I know this isn't the mechanics forum, but let's pretend. There are mechanics here after all. I installed my first new chain since the age or hen's teeth. Shimano, with a special pin with a pilot on it. Never seen nor heard of this amimal. It's a hair long. Can I not just remove a link and put a quick link in there?
